运筹系列11:google的OR-Tools简介

1. 介绍

google的开源优化算法包ortools,支持线性规划、整数规划,可以方便的求解Routing、Bin packing、Network flows、Assignment、Scheduling等问题。
官网地址为:https://developers.google.com/optimization
开源代码地址为 https://github.com/google/or-tools
算法包支持java、c++、c#、python。这里使用python环境,安装非常简单:

pip install ortools

2. 线性规划示例

ortools默认使用Glop(谷歌自己开发的线性规划求解器)
这里粘贴一下官网的例子。相比其他专业的优化软件,语法是有点冗长。

3. 混合整数规划

OR-Tools默认使用Coin-or branch and cut (CBC)求解整数规划问题。此外,还支持SCIP、GLPK、Gurobi等。下面是官方例子,注意求解器和变量定义发生了变化。

4. 约束优化

约束优化(constraint programming)和混合整数规划的数学模型并无差异,但是它的求解方法是使用拉格朗日变换去掉约束条件,然后使用诸如牛顿法、梯度法、模拟退火、遗传算法、蚁群算法等方法来快速得到一个可行解,而不是传统MIP问题中寻找最优解
ortools可以使用原生CP求解器和CP-SAT求解器。根据官方文档说明,推荐使用CP-SAT求解器。求解status有如下几种可能:OPTIMAL(4)、MODEL_SAT(2)、MODEL_UNSAT(3)、MODEL_INVALID(1)、UNKNOWN(0)。
另外注意CP-SAT目前不支持3.6版本,使用3.6会报错:This program was compiled against version 3.5.1 of the Protocol Buffer runtime library, which is not compatible with the installed version (3.6.1). Contact the program author for an update.
下面举例说明用法。假设有3个变量x, y, z,取值范围为[0,1,2],约束条件为x≠y。

假如想获得中间结果,可以使用cp_model.CpSolver.SolveWithSolutionCallback(cp_model.CpModel, 回调函数(变量list))。参考如下代码:
