How To Read A Book —— Day 13

Summary

This chapter is talk about how to read practice books. The authors have emphasized over and over, that we must ask questions when we read, and specifically that we must ask four particular questions of whatever we are reading.

No matter what we learn, the most thing to remember about any practical book is that it can never solve the practical problems with which it is concerned. That is what it means to say that nothing but action solves practical problems, and action occurs only in the world, not in books.
