Life Is A Box Of Memory Cards

Last evening I attended a gift wrapping service at the chapel together with Jenny and Ling, during which we collected all things donated by people and carefully packed them up nicely as presents for those sisters who are at the moment struggling with their diseases in the hospital. To be frank, I am not good at crafting since my childhood, and as a result, I got rather anxious about how to handle the various tools as well as put things as combinations in the very beginning. It was until Ling gave me some good hints that I eventually got a relief and started to enjoy what I was doing and it really required a large amount of patience, dedication and affection to make it. What I want to say is that I am most pleased to be a member of the lovely ladies joining this project and we have successfully delivered an efficient and excellent performance!

Helping Others Is Also Helping Oneself.

Well, in recent days I felt like a troubleshooter, as a wide variety of issues just popped up spontaneously as in the failure of Telstra landline and internet network, the leakage of the electric water heater tank as well as some ‘ridiculous’ requirements from certain patients and I was supposed to deal with them one by one. On the one hand, I feel awesome that I can be helpful and I believe it does offer me good opportunities to practice oral English and communication skills; On the other hand, I suppose I should say ‘Thank You’ to Heinz, who has gradually helped me develop problem-solving abilities. Although he may have held his own intentions and felt desperate for not fulfilling them, I want to sincerely appreciate his cultivation in the three years. Anyway, life is like a box of memory cards and we had better selectively keep those happy and wonderful moments firmly in mind and let the sad and bitter ones go with the wind.
