NZP CSI-RS configurations:

  1. nrNzpCsiRsResourceType: can be {periodic, semi-persistent, aperiodic}
  2. nrNzpCsiRsNumAp: can be {p1, p2, p4, p8, p12, p16, p24, p32}
  3. nrNzpCsiRsDensity: can be {0.5, 1, 3} in RE/port/PRB
  4. nrNzpCsiRsDot5: can be {even, odd}, only applicable when density=0.5
  5. nrNzpCsiRsCdmType: can be {noCDM, fd-CDM2, cdm4-FD2-TD2, cdm8-FD2-TD4}
  6. nrNzpCsiRsPrbBitmap: bit string, length of which can be {len4, len12, len3, len6} for Row#1/#2/#4/other respectively
  7. nrNzpCsiRsL0: as specified by firstOFDMSymbolInTimeDomain
  8. nrNzpCsiRsL1: as specified by firstOFDMSymbolInTimeDomain2
  9. nrNzpCsiRsStartingPrb: the starting PRB of CSI-RS
  10. nrNzpCsiRsNumPrb: number of PRBs for CSI-RS
  11. nrNzpCsiRsPeriodicity: periodicity in slots for periodic or semi-persistent CSI-RS
  12. nrNzpCsiRsOffset: offset in slots for periodic or semi-persistent CSI-RS

 

ZP CSI-RS configurations:

  1. nrZpCsiRsResourceType: can be {periodic, semi-persistent, aperiodic}

5GNR Resource Grid CSI-RS simplification:

*only support periodic NZP/ZP CSI-RS;

*only one NZP/ZP CSI-RS resource per NZP/ZP CSI-RS resource set;

*only one NZP CSI-RS resource set per CSI-ResourceConfig;
