要安装 DB2 UDB 服务器，必须满足下列操作系统、软件、硬件和通信需求：

对于 DB2 服务器或者作为 DB2 产品的一部分交付的任何应用程序，Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 和 Windows XP Service Pack 1 不是必需的。

Windows 2000 Terminal Server 安装局限性
不能在 Windows 2000 Terminal Server edition 上使用远程会话从网络映射驱动器安装 DB2 版本 8。可用的变通方法是使用“通用命名约定”（UNC）路径来启动安装，或从控制台会话运行安装。
