搭建istio基础环境(基于1.5.1版本)
安装步骤
在安装 Istio 之前,需要一个运行着 Kubernetes 的环境,安装步骤可以参考前面的文章
下载istio,然后解压,然后将 istioctl
增加到 path 环境变量中

配置文件、按照官方文档操作安装会出现错误,导致不能正常进行sidecar 自动注入

卸载istio
istioctl manifest generate --set profile=demo | kubectl delete -f -
部署Bookinfo
Istio 默认自动注入 Sidecar. 请为 default
命名空间打上标签 istio-injection=enabled

使用 kubectl
部署应用:
kubectl apply -f samples/bookinfo/platform/kube/bookinfo.yaml
在实际部署中,微服务版本的启动过程需要持续一段时间,并不是同时完成的。
确认所有的服务和 Pod 都已经正确的定义和启动:

确认 Bookinfo 应用是否正在运行,请在某个 Pod 中用 curl
命令对应用发送请求,例如 ratings

Simple Bookstore App
使用浏览器访问Bookinfo放在后面来讲解,因为是使用云环境而非本地,使用gateway/ingress开放外网端口还需要调整一些配置,跟官方文档在本地安装还有些差异。
