cocoa pod install and error

as the title say

1.  install

pod setup failed many times   -- internet reason

use:

$ sudo gem install -n /usr/local/bin cocoapods

$ Git clone https://git.coding.net/CocoaPods/Specs.git ~/.cocoapods/repos/master

2. error :git clone rpc failed curl 18 fix by 

git config --global http.postBuffer 524288000

3. pod repo list 

check repo master list

4. pod init and add 

    a.pod init 

   b. vim podfile

   c. pod 'xxxx' -- this xxx is what you want add

5. pod install TOO slow

6. pod install fail - unable to find specification 'xxx'

 check the source is right or not , 

a. delete cach :

~/Library/Caches/CocoaPods/ search_index.json

b. modify podfile like :

pod 'xxxxx', :tag => 'x.0.0', :git => 'https://github.com/xxxxx/xxxx.git'
