考生伪造清华录取通知书引全网热议，被拆穿后离家出走……

高考后收到录取通知书原本是件喜事，然而，一封“清华录取通知书”却让一家人感到了糟心。

近日，有网友爆料，广东湛江雷州市调风镇一学生自称考上了清华大学，还伪造了录取通知书。

调风镇居民蔡先生称，这件事情在当地轰动一时，学生所在村子甚至拉横幅、放鞭炮来庆祝此事，后被发现系造假。

曹某山同村的一位村民告诉新京报记者，高考分数公布后，这位曹姓考生给父亲看的分数截图是：总成绩702分，省内52名。

而由网上流传的图片可见，“清华大学录取通知书”显示，曹某山被清华大学人工智能技术专业录取，但这张通知书有多处破绽，不仅颜色与正版有出入，还有错字、漏字等问题。

A high school graduate in Guangdong province faked the offer of Tsinghua University and received congratulations from the whole village before his father found out the truth. The news sparked heated discussions online.

The graduate, surnamed Cao, showed his scores to his father when the results of college entrance examination were announced. "The (fake) news that he ranked 52 in the province with a total score of 702 soon spread around the village," said a villager.

The fake offer letter of Tsinghua Cao made for himself was sealed with a red stamp, manifesting that he was "admitted" for artificial intelligence technology major. However, several mistakes, such as wrong Chinese characters, were obvious on the fake letter.

19日，新京报记者从当地一家助学基金会获悉，基金会得知此事后，曾前往曹姓考生家了解情况，工作人员向考生索要录取通知的快递包裹及准考证号进行验证。“他其实只考了235分，本科排名346310位，专科排名346317位。”

Intending to help Cao pay his school fees, local charity foundation went to Cao's home to enquire further. Later staff members at the foundation discovered that Cao had actually scored 235 when they tried to confirm the result.

曹姓考生的初中同学吴夏（化名）介绍，该考生初中时学习成绩并不突出，基本“排不上名次”，上课也常常睡觉，“听说他考上清华后我们也很震惊，我们都不信，因为听说他高中时成绩也一般。”

"We were shocked when we heard that he was admitted by Tsinghua University. We didn't believe it because he was just average when we were in high school," said one of Cao's high school mates.

8月19日，记者联系上学生家长曹先生，他表示儿子已经离家出走，几天没联系上了。“他几天几夜睡不着。”曹先生说儿子谎言被揭穿后，他们有过争吵，儿子也失眠多天。

后来，儿子离家出走，扬言不再上学、要去打工。“最受伤害的还是我们，他妈妈也哭了好几天。”曹先生表示，自己很受伤。

曹先生确认，网上说的“被气晕入院”、“父亲离开当地”等均为谣言。

On Aug 19, Cao's father told the Beijing News that his son had run away from home. He and his wife were absolutely disappointed and sad about their son. But the rumor online claiming that he "fainted and was sent to hospital" was not true.

Cao's father was quoted as saying." After we found out the truth, he did not sleep well for days. He ran away from the house and said he would give up on further education."

而这一“乌龙”刷屏后也引发公众热议，有网友表示：事情已经发生，一味指责考生，取笑考生，都只能让事情往坏处发展，让考生陷入情绪困境。也有网友指出，从照片中可以看到，造假的证书真的很高仿，这样骗了全村人的证书是怎么印出来的？是谁印出来的？其中是不是有违法行为？

The incident triggered widespread discussion on social media. Many netizens criticized the student for lying about his gaokao score and questioned how his parents had not realized he was deceiving them sooner. Others wondered whether the student had violated any laws by faking the letter.

雷州公安局工作人员对此回应称，一般来说，伪造三本及以上的假录取通知书会构成犯罪。但此事件中，男生只是为了向家人逞能，目前未涉及违法犯罪，会对其进行口头教育。但为了防止类似事情再次发生，警方会努力找到伪造录取通知书的始作俑者，按有关规定惩办。

An official from the local public security bureau told China News Service the student had not committed a crime as he had only fabricated one admission letter just to show off, and would likely be given a verbal warning, but the police would investigate the fabricator of the document and punish those responsible in accordance with the law.

雷州市调风镇党委书记黄祖腾表示，此事在网上引发广泛关注后，考生和家长都承受着巨大压力。目前该考生已被找到，也向他做了思想工作，叫他不要想多了，改错就行，他本人也承认了错误，希望大家理性看待，善待考生一家人。

Huang Zuteng, Tiaofeng's Party chief, said the student and his parents were under lots of pressure after the incident went viral online.

"We have offered psychological counseling to them and the student knows that he is wrong," Huang said. "We hope the public will go easy on them."
