<1> Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces,I would still plant my apple tree.

 

<2>If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed.

 

<3>A wise man who built his house on the rock, a foolish man who built his house on sand.

 

<4> When the hay is removed and new growth appears.

 

<5>By other's faults, wish men correct their own.
