       When you looked around, everyone was moving up and getting more.我们身边的人基本上都是处于忙碌、焦虑的状态,节假日所谓的休息不但没有休息好,反而把自己折腾的更累。

       现代人沉溺于购物带来的快感,按照科学研究,就是买一栋大房子带来的幸福感也不超过三个月,更何况其他的商品呢!When you own more, you need more.You also have more stress thinking about all you have to lose.我们拥有的越多的东西,越恐惧失去他们,越是焦虑。消费的乐趣是无力的乐趣,数量越大,越无力,越担忧。佛说:“一切有为法,如梦幻泡影,如露如电,应作如是观”。放弃对物质的占有欲,才有般若智慧,才能体会那细微、持续、强大的幸福。

      正确的购买、增加物质是哪些方面呢?When you find things that add value to your life. Buy them. But, think of everything you buy as investment. 能够增加你生命质量的,让你成长的,我们可以去购买、投资。比如:电脑外带显示器,既保护视力,又提升工作效率;印象笔记,随时储存资料、查询资料;学习新技能的在线课程、书籍,如得到专栏;为了健康的体魄,办理一张健身卡,请专业的教练带你入门,等等,这些看似付费花钱,其实是捡便宜。让你少走很多弯路,让你能够很快的入门,给你打开另外一个世界的大门。

       盘点家里的物件,把所有1年内用不着的东西,送人或者扔了,因为,一年内你用不着的,基本上也就不会再用了。整理后,你会体验到现在的空间才真正属于你。I walked through the house and took inventory of everything we owned. Outside of the necessities, it was blank. There was nothing that was an absolute need. Going through the exercise made me realize how little all our stuff actually means.

       There two ways to be rich: One is by acquiring much, and the other is by desiring little.

       如果不把购买大房子、豪车、名牌服装这些炫耀性消费作为人生目标,我相信我们每个人的精神都能更放松、也能获得更多的自由,更好的生活质量。
