Four Core Story Structures

• order by : targeting the most to the least patient of audiences.

1 OCAR

what ?

• O (opening) : 开头（≈abstract）
• C (challenge) : 问题 （≈introduction）
• A (action) : 做了什么
• R (resolution) : 结果与总结（≈conclusion）

2 ABDCE

• A (action) : 动作为开头（≈challenge）
• B (background)
• D (development) : 动作的后序
• C (climax) : all the threads and address them
• E (ending) : 结局

3 LDR

what ?

• L (lead) : the core of the story is in the first sentences.（≈opening+challenge+resolution）
• D (development) : the rest fills out and develops the story.
• R (resolution) : 结果与总结（≈conclusion）
