perish:to be lost or destroyed 丧失；湮灭；毁灭

Early buildings were made of wood and have perished.

if a smell or sight hits you, you suddenly smell or see it

使〔突然〕闻到; 使看到

3.The music faded to a background noise.

to disappear gradually 逐渐消逝；逐渐消失

4.He felt a churning inside him, a stop -start anxiety.

to feel or to make sb feel upset or emotionally confused （使）感到不安，心烦意乱

stop-start:断断续续的

People say they find love as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms. And it is never the same for any man and women. What people find then is a certain love.
