Od-zer
By Cheng Lie
Penetrating scorched leaves in October
Od-zer, as well as a diplomat from the heaven
levies almost everything from the gully,
not just white towers and prayer wheels
but Tibetan barley and shrub.
Calmer than the nobleness of sunset, the autumn's is
birch trees, their voices are rising and falling
it's revealed that they can die for love.
Fallen leaves recline on the ground
and cuddle the earth tightly.
While thinking of the past, the memories
are more like candlesticks and fruit bowls
placed on the golden woolen rug in the fall
crossing over
all secrets and treasures.
Somewhere invisible
somewhere the singing stops
here is the very nightfall.
