Central Question

This chapter mainly talked about SuTungpo’s art of conserving life. 

My thoughts

这一章读起来很有意思，尤其是在开头的时候，脑海里总是浮现出苏东坡做瑜伽的样子，想着他这么个大诗人在那里吃力地摆弄自己的身体实在是有趣。读到后面才知道当时苏东坡推崇的瑜伽和我想的那种是不一样的。中国古代的养生并不相信通过运动可以让人健康，他们喜欢静静地呆着，做些冥想类的活动，保持精力，可谓是真正的“养”生。

释义：n. to be sorry for something and wish you had not done it - used especially when considering your actions in a religious way  很喜欢这个词，因为这一章宗教的事情讲得多，作者特意在与宗教无关的句子里也选了这个宗教用词。

2. divest

原句：If the mind is divested all of its sense perceptions, this is the goal.

释义：v. if a company divests, it sells some of its assets, investments etc.

释义：v. to try to find more information about someone or something.

造句：He delved deeply into this issue and found out something interesting.
