1> for 因为

She didn’t go on the picnic, for she doesn’t like outdoor activities.
她没有去野餐，因为她不喜欢户外活动。

• picnic:野餐是一种行为，
• go for a walk， go to the park， go on the picnic 注意介词；

It must be very cold, for the lake is forzen over.
外面一定很冷，因为湖面全部都结冰了。

Note > 状语从句because

The lake is frozen over beacause it is very cold.
Because it is very cold, the lake is frozen over.
外面一定很冷，因为湖面都结冰了。

• 状语从句，位置自由，for放2个简单句中间，不能放句首；

2> so 所以，表结果；

It was raining, so the open-air concert was cncelled.
Because it was rainning, the open-air concert was cancelled.
因为下雨， 所以露天音乐会取消了。

• 2个动词，只要一个连词；

You broke the speed limit, so you’ll have to pay a fine.
你超速了，所以得付罚金。
