Well, I'd like to talk about hiking in Qingcheng Mountain with my husband.
「This summer my husband and I go hiking in the mountain near my hometown.」
「We went there on a weekend.」
「It is just an impulsive decision because even it is so close, we've never gone there before.」
We drove to the feet of the mountain and parked our car near the gate.
Then we started to climb.
The footpath to the top was full of trees and it was very quiet.
We were walking up the stairs and talking about our life.
It was one of the peaceful moments that I knew I would remember for the rest of my life.
Because my husband and I didn’t have much time together with each other.
He was working very hard to support the family, and so I cherish these moments.
It took us nearly 4 hours to reach the top.
And even though we had been there so many times before, we were still impressed by the view from the peak.
You might have heard about the beauty of Qingcheng Mountain.
We were very relaxed and satisfied with our yearly hiking there because it was family time for me.
That was my unusual experience of hiking.
Part 3
What are the advantages and disadvantages of having an unplanned trip?
Well, when we go on a trip without planning it, I can think of one benefit. That is having the uncertainty of what we would meet on the trip. It is exciting to some people. and could be romantic at some time. However, the drawbacks are obvious. What sight should we see? Where should we stay? and what is the tasty local food? We don't know any of that. Even now, with the help of the internet, we can have some kind of answers in the flashes(短语,一刹那), I am still afraid this would cost me more than my time. It could turn out to be a very unpleasant traveling memory.
What’s the difference between old people and young people when traveling overseas?
Well, for young people, nowadays, a lot of us choose to travel to Southeast Asian countries like Thailand, as a way to relax. the language barrier is weak because most of us can speak English. For old people, however, it is a disaster. The majority of them can't speak any foreign language. So if they get lost, they don't know how to ask for direction or call for help. Having said that, their trip becomes a pure sight-seeing, traveling from spot to spot, taking tourist pictures. It would be boring without experiencing the local culture.
Do people have to go somewhere to have an unusual vacation?
Well, yes and no. it depends on how we define 'unusual'. I think an unusual vacation could be a memorable time with loved ones or friends. For example, I had several days with friends playing poker in my home. I consider this as unusual because I seldom play poker. And of course, traveling to a new place can also give us good memories. Like the trip to Qingcheng Mountain with my husband. It can also be considered as an unusual vacation.
Do you think tourism in China has already reached a peak or needs further development?
Of course, tourism is booming in China these years. a lot of places used to be remote and unknown are now famous tourist sights. But I believe there are more to be developed. First the sight itself. there are many tourist places with very poor management and infrastructures. These are tasks for local governments. and also, for customers, every time during some national holidays, tourist sights are flooded by people. (如果补充问你怎么办,就回答I don't know how, it is such a big problem, but I think it is so that we need further development.)
Why do many people like to travel abroad?

What do people usually do during a long holiday?
Well, it depends. In China, on traditional Chinese holidays like Spring Festival, people tend to travel back to the place where their ancestors live, and families get together to enjoy the food and the holiday. but on other holidays like National Day, people like to travel abroad or to a tourist place a little bit far from where they live. It is a good time to relax.
