未来数周或数月，中国需要为可能出现的新冠肺炎疫情反弹做好准备。
China needs to prepare for a possible rebound of the novel coronavirus disease epidemic in the coming weeks and months.
在对疫情的报道中，我们还经常看见这些词：
轻症 mild infection
重症 severe infection
危重 critical infection
超级传播者 super spreader
复工
restart，比如：
Several major economic centres, including Shanghai and Guangdong province, have extended the new-year holiday by a week, telling companies to wait until February 10th to restart.
包括上海和广东省在内的几个主要经济中心已将新年假期延长一周，至2月10日复工。
也可以用表示“恢复正常”的表达，比如get back to normal, get back up to speed, get back to full capacity 恢复正常状态，恢复全部产能：
Chinese businesses are always slow to get back up to speed after the holiday. 春节假期过后，中国企业恢复正常状态往往都很慢。
A lack of workers meant that after the end of the lunar new-year holiday Foxconn, which makes most of Apple’s iPhones in China, could not get its assembly plantsback to full capacity.由于工人短缺，春节假期结束后，富士康（中国最大的苹果手机制造商）无法让组装厂恢复全部产能。
还可以是return to jobs，回到工作岗位上，比如：
Moreover, tens of millions of migrant workers, back in their hometowns for the holiday, may wait for the epidemic to recede before crowding onto trains and buses to return to their jobs.此外，数以千万计的外来务工人员回家乡过年，可能要等疫情消退，他们才会挤上火车和大巴返回工作岗位。
在家办公
work from home，比如：
some firms such as Tencent, a tech giant, let employees work from home.科技巨头腾讯等一些企业让员工在家远程办公。
还有这个词：telecommute，这个词由tele+commute构成，词典中对于它的解释是：
[V] to work from home, communicating with your office, customers and others by telephone, email, etc. 家庭办公，远距离工作（通过电话、电子邮件等与办公室、客户等进行联系）
信息恐慌
infodemic
这个词由information+epidemic构成，字面理解即信息疫情。词典对于这个词的定义是：
a surfeit of information about a problem that is viewed as being a detriment to its solution.不利于解决问题的过多信息
近日，世卫组织呼吁国际社会要反击“信息恐慌”，因为假新闻比新冠病毒传播得更快、更容易，而且同样危险。
WHO called on the international community to push back against the "infodemic", as fake news spreads faster and more easily than this virus, and is equally as dangerous.
投我以木桃，报之以琼琚。
You throw a peach to me, and I give you a white jade for friendship.
此句是中国外交部的译法。其中for friendship是对下句“匪报也，永以为好也”的总结。
岂曰无衣，与子同裳。
Fear not the want of armor, for mine is also yours to wear.
此句是王外长在慕尼黑安全会议上讲话的译本。原句是：
日本友好团体在送往中国的物资上写了一句中国古诗：“岂曰无衣，与子同裳，”表达一衣带水邻邦与中国人民的感同身受。
Japanese groups sent assistance supplies to China, attached with ancient Chinese poetic lines: "Fear not the want of armor, for mine is also yours to wear", conveying a touching message of empathy from a close neighbor.
山川异域，风月同天。
外媒在报道时，多是照字面直译了每一个字：
"Foreign lands separated by mountains and rivers, we share the wind and moon under the same sky," the boxes say, quoting a Tang-dynasty text.
CGTN也报道了这则新闻，它是这样翻译这句诗的：
Uplifting Chinese-language verses were written on the boxes of masks donated by a Japanese institution to China like "Although we are in different places, we are under the same sky."
将“山川”、“风月”等意象隐去了，取这句诗最精炼的含义翻译。
顺着这个意译的思路，我们尝试着将这句话翻译为：
Oceans apart, you're close to my heart.
close to one's heart，表示心系某事/人。apart 和heart也押了一点韵。oceans apart也是一首很经典的英文歌曲的歌词：Oceans apart, day after day, and I slowly go insane...
