《圣经》典故之四十二：沙土上建房子

The house built upon the Sand 把房子盖在沙土上；比喻基础不牢固。

出自《新约·马太福音》7章（Matthew 7:26）。 〔原文〕And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”  凡听见我这话不去行的，好比一个无知的人，把房子盖在沙土上。

很贴切而浅显的比喻，任何建在沙子基础上的房子，都不会牢固，如同听到道理，却不去实践。讲到这里，“知行合一”这一心学的核心观点也就呼之欲出。这也算是东西方相似之处吧。
