根据2020年全球创新指数,瑞士是全球最具创新力的经济体,其次是瑞典、美利坚合众国、联合王国和荷兰,区域领先者包括印度、南非、智利、以色列和新加坡,中国、越南和坦桑尼亚联合共和国在各自的收入组别中居于首位。在2020年GII排名中领先的经济体仍以发达经济体为主——但以中国为例外,尽管中国已经连续第二年位列第14名,但它仍是GII 30强中唯一的中等收入经济体。
“正如中国、印度和越南所表现的,对创新的不懈追求会随着时间的推移得到回报。”美国康奈尔大学前院长兼管理学教授苏米特拉·杜塔说,“全球创新指数已被这些国家以及全球其他国家的政府用来提高其创新绩效。”在“创新驱动战略”的影响下,中国在全球创新版图中的影响力和贡献度不断扩大。
创新是驱动经济发展的源动力,而作为经济社会的基本单元,企业的创新对于全球创新格局、全球经济格局有着至关重要的意义。企业的研发创新力直接体现在其专利数量上,但专利质量并不能从一而论,引用情况、专利授权率、技术覆盖范围、权利要求数、专利族大小、PCT申请量等等指标都可以作为评定标准。
