雅思口语技巧考官问答1

       开学了，想留学的同学们想必已经开始了雅思的备考。但对于这个考试，还是有需要了解的问题。怎么办？

问题1：

What does may "demonstrate language-related hesitation" mean? Does it mean that people hesitate to speak because theyneed to construct a grammatical sentence in their mind, which takes some time?

考试是迟疑的问题是怎么判定的呢？ 

考官回答：

We all hesitate from time to time when we speak to think about our idea or what has been said to us. This is fine and natural and ok for IELTS as long as it is not excessive. When we hesitate to think about our grammar or because we can't think about a word we need then this is different . Doing this too much makes a negative impression and issomething that people should work on. Speaking a bit slower can actually help quite a lot with this.

人们说话时迟疑是很正常的事情。但是在雅思考试时如果经常迟疑、停顿的话，会给考官不好印象。建议练习是放慢速度而减少停顿和迟疑。

What is "Using Vocabulary with full flexibility"?

灵活运用词汇是什么意思？

考官回答：

Flexibility here means being able to use a wide range of appropriate words easily regarding any of the topics that you are talking about with the examiner.

灵活运用的意思就是考官给出的任何话题，你都可以使用范围广的适当的词汇。
