2022-12-11 有痛无苦 Pain is Inevitable. Suffering is Optional

*Most people are willing to do anything in order to avoid real thinking.

*Failure to reach the bar is not something you can easily explain away. When it comes to other people, you can always come up with a reasonable explanation, but you cannot fool yourself. Basically, each action should have a quiet, inner motivation, and doesn’t seek validation in the outwardly visible.

Recently what I have been doing keeps reminding me of the above words. Articles completion thing, 05:30 timely getting up early thing, Shengwang course study thing, the result of all do not attain the standards I’ve set for myself.

Maybe being motivated by a scheduled goal or accomplishing assignments as per outward standards is a good thing, but none of them really matter.  What’s crucial is whether you already make 100% effort on your job, or come to the realization of what you really want, what you really like to be.  In a nutshell, it's all about people.

Life is short.  I’ve got to follow the rule of development and growth. It might be not that comfortable like it is awful tasting medicine, but the patient needed it.

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

He who does not try to struggle restlessly would never gain anything he desires.

He who does not have the courage to follow his heart and intuition would never know what he really wants.

He who avoids really thinking would never get close to the nature of life.

We're the owner of ourselves. We've got to be responsible for our life.
