1.最近走路的时候会想一个话题然后开口练习，反正大家都戴着口罩，别人也看不出我在说话哈哈哈。我发现对于英语的表达，我还是有一定基础的（自信一些），虽然没有怎么练习过，但我大多时候都能很快速地把我想说的用英文展现出来。

In fact, APPs like LRB are mostly just for users to kill time or search for something when necessary. We definitely can learn nothing from it but rather just waste our time. Useful and meaningful knowledge comes from books and real social activities.
Furthermore, I am going to graduate so I think I should be committed to my future.
I understand that addiction to browsing LRB is an unhealthy and negative habit.
Without LRB, I will have more time to focus on my studies and life.

9~10special cake&lesson remember well

Speaking of the most special cake, I would like to share with you my first experience of making a cake.
To celebrate my parents' 23rd wedding anniversary, my brother and I went to a baking shop together to learn how to make cakes during winter vacation. The teacher there was patient and professional. She advised us to make the easiest one, cheese cake. Then she taught us how to make a cake base with flour and how to whip the cream.
My brother is ten years younger than me, so I thought I would definitely do better than him. At that time, I took out my phone from time to time to chat with others, and listened to music while making the cake. But my brother kept listening to the teacher's explanation very carefully and concentrated on his making.
Finally, as you may have guessed, the cake made by my brother looked better than mine and also tasted well.
I think this bakery lesson was interesting and memorable. It was meaningful to make a cake for parents on that important day. Also, I found that only serious and dedicated people can do things well.

I can always easily guess what Anna is thinking, and she often points out that no one knows her better than I do.
Every year on our birthdays, we will send each other good wishes and exchange gifts. This year, I am thinking of giving her a toy that both of us loved when we were kids.
I think Lego is a perfect gift because it is suitable for all ages, and everyone loves it.
The skyscraper Lego set, which is very popular recently.
Though it will cost me an arm and a leg, I want to give her a perfect gift and I believe that she will definitely love it!

I reckon that Ai Fukuhara has contributed many useful things to the society and I admire her very much.
1.The 34-year-old woman was regarded as a "child prodigy" in table tennis in Japan. She went to China for training at a very young age and can speak fluent Mandarin with a northeastern accent.
2.The Japanese women's table tennis team led by Fukuhara won the silver at the London Olympics in 2012 and the bronze at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
3.As the Japanese young players are making fast progress, she said she could now retire and hoped to continue to make contribution to table tennis and the sports communities.
4.respect the opponent
She always shares her photos and experiences on her social media, like ins and miro-blog. Her words can always inspire me to insist on what I am doing.

At my high school graduation, our school prepared for each of us a T-shirt and held a grand graduation ceremony for us in the great hall.
Our head teacher said that these T-shirts were gifts bought by our school, so we did not need to pay for them. This represented their best wishes for all of us to have a bright future. I felt grateful and delighted when I heard this.
The T-shirt was white with the pictures of school's landscape and our school's motto was printed on it too. I still remembered the landscape on it was the road we would walked every day when going to school. In spring, a row of cherry trees on the roadside were beautiful and we often hang a small card with a wish on the tree shoot. That was really unforgettable and inspired us a lot at that time.
Before leaving the school, we asked teachers who helped us a lot to sign on it. That made the T-shirt held much more special meanings.
I have not worn that T-shirt since that day because I was afraid it would get dirty and the signature would be blurred if I washed it.

Cooking is a skill that is difficult for me to learn. I tried to cook last year. Accidentally the oil was spilled on my arm and I still have scars of it. So I have been afraid to cook since then.
This winter holiday, I saw my friends showed her cooking on the wechat and she told me that it was proud to cook meals for parents and received their praise. As a result, I decided to try cooking again.
I didn’t think it would be a piece of cake to learn this skill. What I learned from the website was just theory; it had to be much more complicated when I actually started cooking a dish.
My grandmother was good at cooking and she taught me patiently. She demonstrated to cook a dish first, and meanwhile I wrote down the steps in my notebook. Then, I operated it by myself under her guidance.
I think learning cooking is meaningful and helpful. Because my parents are usually busy at work. If I can cook for them, they can eat directly when they get home after a busy day.

In college, everyone has their own busy schedule. So apart from my roommates, I am not familiar with many of my classmates.
Recently, at a class meeting, I met Lily from the next dormitor. I found she was much slimmer than before and she told me she was losing weight last months, preparing for an academic event. She needs to be thinner to wear a formal dress as a miss etiquette.
I was curious about what she saw and heard at the event. Then we had a long conversation.
At the academic event, many professors shared their research and studying experiences in academic activities. She found that professors like to think. Even when they were students in the university, they would keep thinking in class and often exchange ideas with teachers. They not only studied hard, but also focused on the after school practice to exercise their ability.
She said she would do the same in the future, but I was afraid to express my thoughts or questions in front of others. She encouraged me to be brave because teachers are happy to answer questions for students. I found that she was very motivated. I am very happy to be familiar with her. I plan to communicate with her more frequently in the future and make progress together.

My 10-year-old brother is very handsome, energetic and outgoing. Even though we are ten years old apart, we get along easily. He knows me a lot, such as what I am interested in and what kinds of vegetable I dislike.
When I have an online meeting with my professor at home, I needed to make a video call with her. But there was not mobile phone holder at home, and I was very anxious because the meeting was very important. I told to my brother and surprisingly, he immediately used his building blocks to make a mobile phone holder for me. The mobile phone holder could also adjust the height by increasing or decreasing the number of building blocks, which was very convenient.
My brother is very good at hand crafting. When he was in kindergarten, he was able to fold all kinds of animals out of paper.
Some time ago, he participated in a making competition of plane models and won the first prize in our city. During the production process, he was very attentive, and I often saw him sitting on the floor at home to make the work.

I received surprising high-quality service when my family and I moved not long ago.
In January, we moved to a high-rise apartment with Radiant Floor Heating. If you have gone to the south part of China in winter, you may know how cold and wet there.
I did not realize that moving was so troublesome until I started! There were so many things in our old apartment that my parents and I did not finish moving half of those after a whole morning. I turned to the Internet and found a moving companies called Yifeng. The company was very efficient. I made an appointment for moving service before lunch, and half an hour after finishing my lunch. The company had arranged for a truck and two staff to help us.
We indeed had a lot of things, and they were quite heavy too. My father and I would have had to make multiple trips to carry everything into the new apartment. But, with the help of the staff, we moved everything to the elevator in just a few minutes.I was very grateful for their help.
My mother offered them some drinks immediately after arriving at the new apartment but they politely refused, saying it was their duty and they were happy to help us.

31~32get up early&a place I went to on holiday

Last summer holiday, my friends and I went on a trip to the Mogan Mountain, located in Zhejiang Province. It is a tourist attractions not as popular as mountains like Mount Tai or Mountain Huang. As a result, we enjoyed a good time there and did not need to worry about the crowded people.
When we got Mogan Mountain, the hotel's staff strongly suggested us to enjoy the magnificent sunrise, which is a famous scenery spot there. I had read some poems and articles describing the sunrise in books when I was young, so I decided to see how beautiful the sunrise is there on the second day.
Since we lived at the half point of Mogan Mountain, it was not far to the summit. The next morning we got up at 4am to walk to the summit. Since I usually wake up late in the morning, it was difficult for me to wake up at 5am. Not until my friends yelled at me, could I wake up in time.
To my surprise, Mogan Mountain has very gentle paths. We reached the summit with little difficulty. The sunrise was quite early and there were a lot of people waiting there. Luckily, we got a good place so we could appreciate the beauty of sunrise.
As we got to the observation point, the sun began to come out. At this moment I thought it was totally worth it because the sunrise on Mogan Mountain was really astonishing! The dark sky brightened gently and the sun seemed to appear through the clouds. The scene was so beautiful that I couldn't put it into words.
It was such an amazing and unforgettable experience and it is the perfect place where Iwould like to recommend to all of my friends to visit

33~35business man I admire&a creative person&a famous person

The person I would like to talk about is the CEO of ELEME, Zhangxuhao.
ELEME is a professional catering platform in China. People use the app to order online. Then the restaurant will receive the order and prepare the food on the list. After a while, delivery man will come to the restaurant to get the food and take it to the address shown on the order list.
When Zhangxuhao was in the university, he had found the market demand of take-out. He used technology to innovate and reform the food delivery industry. People now can enjoy food without leaving home. It provides great convenience for people's lives.
His spirit of innovation and practice is the main reason why I admire him. As for why he could come up with the idea of founding ELEME, I think it stems from his principle of thinking all the time and keeping an eye on society. It is a real inspiration for me.
To some extent, he changed the catering industry, and I learned a lot of useful things from his experiences and ideas. I admire him from the bottom of my heart.

36rule dislike

In China, many university use an app called happy running to supervising students to run weekly. Students need to run the required distance each week and the app will record how long we run. If we fail to complete the task, school will deduct our points for sports tests.
I do understand the purpose of school. They want to encourage students to exercise themselves regularly and keep a healthy life style.
However, I really dislike this rule. Everyone has their favourite way to exercise. As for me, I prefer to skip rope rather than run. I can skip rope for more than one hour per day and it is a sport that help us get in shape. But running is really a difficult task for me. Every time I run for more than 20 minutes, I will get tired and feel difficult to continue to run. Once I finished running, I felt very uncomfortable in my stomach, and it took a long time to recover.
I suggest school to develop more projects for students to choose. Forcing everyone to run really is not a wise decision.

37~38something I can't live without&repair something

If I am asked about one thing that I cannot live without, the answer would be earphones. I like listening to music and watching videos in my spare time.
When I am down, I'm used to being alone and listening to some soft music to comfort myself.
Watching videos with earphones can avoid making noise to disturb others.
An unforgettable experience pops into my mind of a weekend last months. My earphones broke down accidentally which almost drove me crazy at the time. Because I was crazy for a TV series and wanted to watch it on that weekend. Without earphones, I could not watch it because I lived with others in my dormitory. I did not want to play the sound to disturb them.
Because my school does not have a shop that repairs headphones. I decided to search the Internet for a solution. I looker for many websites and found a detailed introduction. The passage offered many ways to repair. But I did not know where my earphones were broken exactly. I planned to choose an easiest way to have a try. It told me it was possible that there was too much dust in the earphones junction of my phone. So I used a needle to test whether there was something in the junction. Surprisingly, I found there was scraps of paper in it.

I want to go on an exciting vacation! With the new building of highways in China, more people are interested in "self-driving tours" to enjoy their holiday in an easier and more fun way.
My parents prefer to go to places with beautiful scenery. But if I go out with my friends, I usually choose different cities to live in the center of them and feel the specialties and cuisines of each city.
I would like to have a road trip with my friends to visit Chongqing in southwest China. I have watch many videos about Chongqing. Though I haven’t been there, I know all the tourist attractions and famous hotpot restaurant there!
Chongqing is famous for hotpot and barbecue culture. Hotpot, in particular, has become the symbol of Chongqing. There may be more than one thousand hotpot restaurants in the city, which is a good indication of people's love for hot pot. One of my friends who has went to Chongqing last summer told me that the hot pot in Chongqing is the best that she had ever had.
Besides, I find the Chongqing dialect very interesting. The way they pronounce and express themselves is like telling jokes, which often makes me laugh.So, I believe Chongqing is a vibrant city, full of interesting things and delicious food.
Chongqing is always called "mountain city". I hear that driving in Chongqing is very challenging it is easy to get lost. I prefer challenges, so I am looking forward to driving in Chongqing.

42interesting song

I'm a big fan of, and have listened to a lot of music. I like all kinds of music, and above all, I believe the “Wish you happy birthday song” is the most interesting and meaningful song. It is not the song called "birthday song". somthing like.... It's a well-known song from China, filled with joy.
The first time I heard the song was at my 20 year old birthday. My friends and I celebrated the day in Haidilao hot pot. Haidilao hot pot is a restaurant famous for its special service that waiters will sing "Wish you happy birthday song" together for the person who celebrates his birthday there.
The most impressive part of this song to me is "Say Bye~Bye to all your troubles and Say Hi~ Hi to all the happiness". That day, I put on a birthday hat and had lit candles on my birthday cake. Then the staff turned off the lights which were above me, and I made a wish for next year. When making the wish, everyone sang the birthday song to me. It was one of my happiest moments in my memory.

43learn another language

Watching English documentary is one of the things I do to enhance my English skills. English documentary fascinates me because it is not only typically interesting and high-quality, but also teaches me lots of knowledge in a relaxing way.
I usually watch English documentary in my dormitory alone, on my laptop. I used to watch “The Private Life of Plants”, because I major on Plant Protection. I prefer downloading them to the hard disk first. So, I can pause and continue playing whenever I need.
At first, I relied on the Chinese subtitles. Without them I couldn’t understand what they were talking about. Later, I could follow some of the dialogues. I was so surprised to find that I made a lot of progress in English. So,I saw it as a kind of learning since the end of last year, and I began to write down English words, especially some terms.
Watching English documentary has become a powerful tool for me to boost my vocabulary and exercise my listening skills.Today, I still need these subtitles when I watch English documentary. Especially when there are many terms I have not learnt or my mind can’t keep up. But I know I’m doing better in English.

44house would like to live in

Although city life is fast-paced and a little bit noisy. I still like living in cities because of the convenience of transportation and the abundance of entertainment facilities. Therefore, if I was to describe my ideal house it would definitely be a comfortable house in the center of the city. I hope it would be a big house decorated in modern style with a garden where I can plant flowers.
I think the perfect location for this house would be Suzhou. Suzhou is a city with rich cultural heritage and traffic there is convenient. There are many shopping centers and bustling streets, and there are also many hills in the suburbs. On weekends, I can invite friends to go hiking with me.
I want to buy a projector for my home so that I can watch movies in my spare time with my family. I will always keep drinks and fruit in the fridge. Then I can enjoy them while watching a movie. Next to the living room, I want to set a floor-to-ceiling window, and at night, I can sit next to the floor-to-ceiling window to enjoy the night view of the city.
The desk in the study room must be large, because the desk in my dormitory is very small, and I often worry about the limited space for my items. So I hope my ideal home can have a large desk. It will be more convenient for me to study.

45a cafe I like to visit

Speaking of a café that I like to visit, I guess that would be the one in my school and it is called "easy life". "easy life" is not a brand and just a small cafe in my school. It is beside my dormitory. So it costs me only 5 min to walk there.
"easy life"'s stores are generally small, much smaller than its rival Starbucks, but it still offers a handful of tables for guests to rest. I prefer to participate in some teamwork competitions. So I often go to "easy life" with my team members to discuss our plans and complete tasks together.
"easy life" also has a takeaway service, which makes it easier for students to buy its products. Besides, it sells a variety of coffee flavors, from traditional Americano to innovative coconut coffee. It also sells a variety of bakery products, such as cakes and caramel pudding. I like to buy coffee there because its coffee is cheap and good. Their coffee tastes like Starbucks but costs almost half as much. As a student, It is a good choice to buy coffee there instead of Starbucks.

46an exciting book

I have been a big fan of reading and loved reading while sitting at home or in the library since I was in primary school. When talking about the most interesting book I have ever read, It must be a book series called "Tiger team".
It was popular in kids at that time. At that time, I found it almost impossible to put down! The book contains many separate and exciting stories. These stories are full of mystery and suspense which is why I found the book so hard to put down.
Tiger team is a large collection of stories written by Thomas·Brezina, a famous foreign novelist.
Tiger team comprises three clever and brave teenagers.They break into several dangerous and terrifying areas. In each area, they solve all kinds of mysteries, and create wonderful stories one by one.
I really like mystery novels and detective novels because I like to try and solve the mystery myself before I finish the book. I have bought many different types of detective novels since I was young, among which the best one I remember deeply is the Tiger team. This is because the criminal is never the person who you think it is going to be. Therefore, the conclusion is always a surprise.

47wait for something special

A special and meaningful moment in my life still exists in my mind. It is the moment when I waited for the birth of my little brother.
It was the day after my fifth-grade final exam in primary school, and I was taken to the hospital by my dad. We wait together for the birth of my younger brother. Sitting outside the operating room, I was very worried about my mum. Also I was very curious whether the new member of my family is a boy or a girl.
I waited there for almost one hour, my mum looked so tired and feeble. When I saw my brother, I was so excited. I couldn't wait to see him, his eyes were closed. I was curios if his eyes were the same size as my mother's. Because my dad' eyes are small eyes, so my mom and I had always been worried that my brother's eyes would be small too.
However, he looked very fat, and his hands were clenched into fists. I was even worried that he might have six fingers, so I counted it in my heart.
