上面的代码即可启动一个Activity,疑惑点随之就来了
继续往下看
开始着手源码,因为只有执行了startActivity()才会开始跳转创建新Activity。
那么执行startActivity()方法在哪被执行的呢?因为startActivity存在于Activity之中,只有继承或者拿到了Activity的上下文才能去执行startActivity等方法,所以这里直接进入Activity.java找到startActivity()方法

我们先看 if (mParent == null)
,mParent
在API 13之前代表的是一个ActivityGroup,它最开始被用来在一个界面中嵌入多个子Activity,但在API 13之后,mParent
代表的并不是ActivityGroup了,代替它的就是Fragment。
我们再看到 mInstrumentation.execStartActivity
方法的参数,mMainThread.getApplicationThread()
,它的类型是ApplicationThread,而ApplicationThread又是ActivityThread的一个内部类,而这两个Thread后面起到关键的作用。
我们再看到mInstrumentation.execStartActivity
这个方法里的具体实现
它的具体实现类在mInstrumentation
类中。

这里我们直接看到try部分,可以看出来Activity启动的真正实现是由ActivityManagerNative.getDefault()
的startActivity
方法来完成的,那就不由得来介绍一下AMS了,AMS就是ActivityManagerService,AMS继承了AMN(Activity Manager Native) 而AMN又继承了Binder 并且实现了IActivityManager这个Binder接口,所以说AMS也是一个Binder,所以ActivityManagerNative.getDefault()
就是一个IActivityManager类型的Binder对象,AMS这个Binder对象采用的单利模式,后续用该方法来获取到binder

当无法正确启动一个Activity时会抛出异常信息,就比如常见的Activity未在ActivtiyManifest.xml中注册。
ok,再回到刚刚讲的AMS,具体实现与交互都在AMS中,那么来进入AMS中的世界

可以看得出来Activity的启动过程又交给了mActivityStarter
的startActivityMayWait
方法,接着调用顺序为startActivityMayWait—>startActivityLocked—>startActivityUncheckedLocked—>ActivityStack—>resumeTopActivityUncheckedLocked,这个时候启动过程已经从ActivityStackSupervisor转移到了ActivityStack.
那么再来看看ActivityStack中的resumeTopActivityUncheckedLocked方法

,它是一个Binder类型的接口。该方法包含了大量启动、停止Activity的接口,此外还包含了启动和停止服务的接口。该Binder接口的实现者, 完成了大量的Activity以及Service启动和停止等一些功能。
可以看到IApplicationThread
实现了Binder接口,那就不得不来看看ApplicationThread
,因为ApplicationThread
是IApplicationThread
的具体实现者

在ApplicationThread里,scheduleLaunchActivity实现比较简单,就是发送一个启动Activity的消息交由Handler处理(ActivityThread),这个Handler的别名就叫 H 。接着看到sendMessage(H.LAUNCH_ACTIVITY, r);
