前天是我们相遇的周年纪念日，特此写信来感谢遇见。我为这封信的迟到以及我在你生命里的迟到道歉，让你久等了。

The day before yesterday was the anniversary of the day I first met you. I am writing to appreciate our encounter. I apologize for the delay of this letter and for being late in your life and keeping you waiting.

我很高兴地看到，在我迟到的日子里，你有照顾好自己，认真生活。在没遇见你的日子里，我在等待中学习和思考爱情，深谙“要找到一个好伴侣，自己首先得是一个好伴侣”，深深地羡慕杨绛钱钟书，代王窦漪房的感情。

I'm glad to see that on the days when I was not around, you took good care of yourself and took your life seriously. Before meeting you, I had been learning and thinking about love while waiting, knowing that "to find a good partner, one must be a good partner first", and deeply admiring the relationships between Yang Jiang and Qian Zhong Shu, King Dai and Dou Yi Fang.

遇见你之后，我每分每秒都在感激，你“看见”了我，完整了我的梦，补全了我自己没能治愈的缺口，我享受跟你在一起的每个当下。我每时每刻都在感叹自己如此幸运，在最美好的年纪，遇到和我如此契合的你。

Ever since I met you, I have been grateful every minute of the day. You see through me, fulfilled my dream, healed the part that I was not able to heal by myself. I enjoy every moment with you, and I couldn’t feel luckier to have met someone who is so right for me in the best years of my life.

谢谢你让我愿意认真地去学习经营一段成熟的恋爱关系。我会在认清现实之后对你保持积极的幻想，持续提升自己的心智化程度，并在之后的岁月里给予你陪伴，尊重，支持。我们在理智中追寻浪漫，在相似里发现互补，相互治愈，双向奔赴。仿佛永远分离，却又终身相依。千古知音最难觅，何其有幸遇见你。

It is because of you that I am willing to take a mature relationship seriously and to learn how to cultivate it. I will keep a positive illusion of you based on reality, continuously enhance my mentalization, keep your company, respect you and support you in the following years. We seek sensitivity in the sense; we find complementarity within similarity, we heal each other, and we run toward each other. It is as if we were separated forever yet depend on each other lifelong.
