时隔两年之后，华为Mate系列又回来了。

9月6日，在华为Mate 50系列及全场景新品秋季发布会上，华为正式发布Mate 50系列手机，是全球首款支持北斗卫星消息的大众智能手机。 

为什么叫“mate”？

mate的含义：

n. 助手，大副；配偶；同事；配对物
例：Nibs and John were first and second mate.尼布斯和约翰是大副和二副。
例：He has found his ideal mate.他已经找到了理想的配偶。

vt. 使配对；使一致；结伴
vi. 交配；成配偶；紧密配合

例：One day the wretched cat came into my room with a moth in its mouth. I thought it had knocked over the cage but it was still there, surrounded by male hawkmoths who had come for miles to mate.
有一天我看到这讨厌的猫嘴里叼着一只蛾子进了我的屋，我以为它把笼子打翻了呢，但是没有，笼子好好的，外面围满了从几英里外赶来交配的雄天蛾。

工作中，手机就像是我们的mate
生活中，我们有roommate、soulmate...
Mate虽然没有friend的正式，但很容易拉进了人与人之间的距离，而且很有记忆点。
