My Brief Introduction and A Little Story

Good evening, every one!

I'm Michael Sun and I come from Xuzhou, where is also the hometown of Liubang, the founding monarch of Han Dynasty. What's more, Xuzhou is also the capital of Western-Chu that was found by Xiangyu, while is called 彭城 at that time. I think Xiangyu is also a hero. So... if you want to learn more history about the Western-Chu and Han dynasties vividly, come to Xuzhou is a good choice. During the founding process of People's Republic of China, the Huaihai battle is mainly fighted in Xuzhou, there is a memorial hall of the famous battle back in my hometown.

This is my second time here and here in RS I am a mechanical engineer in the Department of Standardization. This is my first speech in Toastmaster and I like to share a small story with all of you:

A 27-year-old boy seeing out of the train's window shouted, "Look,dad, the trees are going behind.".

The dad smiled while a young couple, sitting nearby, looked at the 27-year-old's childish behavior with pity. Suddenly he again exclaimed, "Dad, look the cloud are running with us!"

The couple couldn't resist and said to the old man, "Why don't u take your son to a good doctor?"

The old man smiled and said, "I did and we are just coming from the hospital. My son was blind since he was born. He just got his eyes today."

Every single person on the planet owns a story. What we have experienced makes who we are today. As an individual, sharing what you experienced and known is great. Just as what I am doing here. But when comes to judging people, be careful unless you truely known them well. Otherwise, the truth and result may surprise you!
