App Store "Guideline 4.3 - Design" 问题处理

最近公司做了个叫做"蕉点"的APP,提交App Store审核却遇到"Guideline 4.3 - Design" 的难题。

  本来希望年前能够上线,因为这个问题错过了春节。当时计划是,先和苹果申诉,如果没有苹果没有响应或者推荐我们放弃这个APP,那么无论如何我们自己再做一些功能或者UI方面的调整重新冒险提审。按我们自己理解,是苹果审核人员没弄清楚我们APP的实际功能,以为是一款普通的相机APP,事后也证明如此。

Dear Apple app reviewers,
    We're a company from Shanghai. We focus on Video AI technology for many years.
    
    In regards to your concern about 'Guideline 4.3 - Design Spam', we would like to make following clarification. Twinkle('蕉点') is an application self-designed and implemented totally by ourselves. It's different from similiar app from below aspects:

    1. It achieves real-time human body segmentation based on deep learning technology without any manual effort. We designed our own neurual network algorithm and kept training and updating the model for almost 3 months to reach the current accuracy.

    2. Our app is able to run AI segmentation algorithm offline on mobile phone without internet access and/or a backend server to protect the user privacy. In addition, the user can monitor the result simultaneously as the final result is being produced.

    3. We have our own UI design team and iOS developers. All UI materials and code are done by our team.

    4. This submission is our first version, so our APP does not include too many functions. We want to bring AI technology to people all over the world and make life beautiful. We are determined to continue adding more functions and improving our design in future. 

    We sincerely hope you can review our app again, give us a chance to pass the review and publish our app to App Store in time. Because we want to publish our app before Spring Festival, time is very urgent. We would be happy to communicate by phone if there are further questions.   然后是漫长的等待,过了春节都没有收到苹果电话,很怀疑苹果说的3~5个工作日是中国地区的。但是上班第一天,苹果给了回复,提及如下问题:

Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness


We discovered one or more bugs in your app when reviewed on iPad running iOS 12.1.3 on Wi-Fi.

Specifically, the content did not load properly. 

Next Steps

To resolve this issue, please run your app on a device to identify any issues, then revise and resubmit your app for review.

If we misunderstood the intended behavior of your app, please reply to this message in Resolution Center to provide information on how these features were intended to work.

For new apps, uninstall all previous versions of your app from a device, then install and follow the steps to reproduce the issue. For updates, install the new version as an update to the previous version, then follow the steps to reproduce the issue.
