相同点：都是表示现在的事

不同点：
1、现在进行时强调正在做的事
2、一般现在时强调经常性、习惯性发生的

形式：
            1、现在进行时
                   谓语动词变成： am/is/are + doing
            
            2、一般现在时
                   谓语动词变成： 原形或者第三人称单数
                   

2、一般过去时

发生过去的事，潜意思现在已经不这样了

3、现在完成时

站在现在的角度看过去

形式：have/has + done

4、过去进去时

过去某个时间点正在发生的事

was + were + doing

• 1、I were having dinner at a restaurant when Tony came in.

came 一般过去时，来推测是过去发生的事
came 是瞬时的事，were having 是持续的事

• 2、Tony worked in a lawyer's office years ago, but he is working now at a bank

years ago表示过去时
now 表示现在时

• 3、He gets a good salary, but he always borrows money from his friends and never pays it back.

he gets表示一般现在时，加个always频率的词，表示一般现在时，所以是borrows和pays
and 两个句子，后者主语可以省略
