Five Common British Expressions

not again 又来了

It's sunny here in London.

That's British sarcasm there.

It's extremely cold today.

I wanted to talk about to you some of the British expressions that I use and  hear more or less every day.

Let' get started.

all right

the first one is "all right".

the really means "hello, how are you". somebody get confused and think it means "is everything ok?" It's really a very general question. it's a nice way if greeting somebody.

all right?

yeah, how are you?

I'm easy.(i don't care)

the next one is "I'm easy".

this would be something you use when somebody asks you make a  decision that you don't really mind.

Would you prefer Italian or Chinese food?

I'm easy. it means i don't really mind.

on about

what's he on about?=

what's he talking about?

it can be used quite nagatively so if someone talking too much.

what's he on about?(他到底在说什么)

Bob's your uncle.(大功告成)

my personal favourite of this list is Bob's your uncle.

is a phrase when you conclude a set of instructs.

Bob'your uncle. you've made a cup of tea.

easy peasy(小菜一碟)

so this last one "easy peasy" is something I used to say quite a lot when I was a child. but i might still say it every now and again. this means something is really easy. I don't recommend that you use this phrase in a job interview. but,for general fun and general conversation. it's absolutely fine.

how was the exam?

it was easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
