Daily Routing

Woman: Hey Michael. Can you tell me about your workday?
Michael: Sure. No problem.
Woman: What time do you get up?
Michael: I usually get up at 7 and leave for work at 8.
Woman: How do you get to work?
Michael: I take the subway. It takes around 50 minutes. I usually get to the office at 9.
Woman: What's the first thing you do when you get to work?
Michael: Well, I always check my email first. I usually have a lot of emails. Then I have a meeting with my team.
Woman: When do you usually get off work?
Michael: Well, sometimes I leave at 6, but I often need to stay until 10.
Woman: Why do you stay so late?
Michael: My company has a lot of clients in Japan. When it is evening here, it is morning there. So I usually have to stay late to call them.
Woman: That's tough.
Michael: Yes, but I make good money. Also my company has sales offices in Japan. So I often travel there on business.
Woman: WOW! Actually, that's pretty cool!
Michael: Yep, I'm kind of big deal!
