Command for CatOS Version 8.x for Cat4000 and Cat6000 Switches:

Switch (enable)show sprom {mod/port} | include Vendor SN

Command for CatOS Version other than 8.x for Cat4000 and Cat6000 Switches:

Switch (enable)show sprom {mod/port}

Command for IOS for Cat6500 Switch:

Switch#show idprom interface gigabitEthernet {mod/port} | include Vendor SN

Command for Cat4500 Switch:

Switch#show idprom interface gigabitEthernet {module/port} | include Serial No.

Command for CAT3750/3560/2970/2960/2918 Switches:

Switch#show controllers ethernet-controller gigabitEthernet {mod/port} phy | include Serial Number

EXAMPLE OF A CAT4500 SWITCH:

Switch#show idprom interface gigabitEthernet 3/29 | include Serial No.

Vendor Serial No. = ICF1020202U <---- Serial No. is in the impacted range.
