HMC 的升级方法
1、登录IBM官网的补丁下载页面
http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/options
2、按上图选择相应的补丁包进行下载
3、选择发行版级别：Recovery版本，并将文件作为ISO映像下载
4、下载完成后有两个iso文件，分别刻录成DVD引导盘。
5、进行升级操作
Beforeyou begin the upgrade task, read and follow the instructions in thePrerequisite tasks section.
You canuse the HMC V7 Recovery media and the HMC "Upgrade" task to upgradeyour HMC to HMC V7 from HMC V6 R1.3 or higher. For special steps that must betaken to upgrade from HMC 6.1.3 and lower HMC V7 releases to HMC 7.3.4.0 andhigher, please refer to the following section of the HMC 7.3.4.0 Readme:

Followthese steps at the HMC interface to upgrade your HMC by means of the RecoveryDVDs.
1、Select HMCManagement.
2、Select SaveUpgrade Data.
3、Select DVD,then click Next.
4、ClickFinish.
5、Wait for theSave Upgrade Data task to complete. If the task fails, contact your next levelof support before proceeding.
6、If the SaveUpgrade Data task is successful, remove the DVD-RAM,
如果上面的工作不成功也没有关系：接着下面的步骤去做！
insert the first Recovery DVD into the DVD-RAMdrive, select Shutdown or Restart.
7、Selectrestart and click OK.
8、The HMCreads the media in the DVD-RAM drive and displays the Install/Backup/Restorewizard window.
9、SelectUpgrade, and then click Next.
10、SelectUpgrade from media, and then click Next.
11、Click Finishto start the Upgrade process.
The DVDdrive opens an the following options are displayed:
1 -- Install additional software from media
2 -- Finish the installation at a later date
Please enter your selection
12、SelectOption 1 and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed:
Please insert the media into the drive andpress Enter.
13、Remove thefirst DVD, insert the second DVD into the DVD-RAM drive, and then press Enterto complete the Upgrade.
The HMCrestores the data preserved by the Save Upgrade Data task, and then completesthe booting process. During this process you are prompted to select thelanguage and keyboard mapping.
14、At theHardware Management Console login prompt, log in using your user id andpassword.
15、Accept theLicense Agreement for Machine Code twice to complete the HMC code update.
Verifyinga successful update
After theHMC is rebooted, follow these steps to verify that the HMC upgrade wassuccessful:
1、SelectWelcome from the Navigation panel.
2、Point yourmouse over the HMC Version link on the Content panel to display the Versioninformation.
3、Verify the version information of the upgraded HMC 7 release in theappropriate Version 7 Readme, either online in Fix Central or at one of theabove links.
