Stylebar voucher and a set of pink ghd hair straighteners

THE winner of the top prize in October’s Worcester News competition, in conjunction with Umberto Giannini, has been announced.
Pauline Bates, of Dines Green, claimed a host of Umberto Giannini products from the Pump Street salon, a Stylebar voucher and a set of pink  ghd hair straighteners and was thrilled with her winnings.
She said: “I was booked in to use my voucher but the snow kept me from getting there, so I’m looking forward to using it after Christmas.”
Michelle Weston from Worcester won the second prize of a cut and blow dry, as well as a collection of products and a voucher, with the third prize going to Mrs B Roberts, who took home some products and a voucher.
The competition was to highlight Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink Day, which encourages people to raise money by wearing pink for a day and getting sponsored in the process. Last year, the campaign raised £3 million to fund research into breast cancer treatment.
Mrs Bates said: “The Breast Cancer Campaign is something I hold close to my heart. It is a brilliant cause which should be thoroughly supported.”
