   We are the World

      

    如果说哪首歌可以配得上苏轼那高唱大江东去的豪迈情怀，可以有地崩山摧、波涛汹涌的壮阔气势，可以有天地为之动容，江山为之改色的旷世震憾，那么，此曲《We are the world》可谓名符其实.

    正如这首歌曲的曲名一样，它让上帝感受到了当人类大家庭团结起来时，那种空前的温情、友爱与互助氛围。

    这首创作于1985年并在当年轰动全球的歌曲，是为向埃塞俄比亚空前的大饥荒的灾民筹集善款，由世界的著名歌手及乐队联手合唱的。 1985年 7月 13日 ，名为“拯救生命”的大型摇滚乐演唱会在英国伦敦和美国费城同时举行。13日中午，演唱会先在伦敦威姆布莱体育场开幕．72000人出席了开幕式。两小时后，美国费城约翰·肯尼迪体育场的音乐会也宣布开始，共有9万人观看了演出。演出一直持续了16个小时，并通过全球通信卫星网络向140多个国家播出了实况，估计总共吸引了近15亿的电视观众。全世界100多位著名摇滚乐歌星参加了这次义演，他们之中有鲍博·迪伦、保尔·麦卡特尼、布鲁斯·斯普林斯廷、蒂娜·特纳、艾尔顿·约翰、迈克·杰克逊等。整个演出过程共筹集到了善款逾5000万美元。摇滚歌星们完成了靠政治家喋喋不休的演说和国际会议没完没了的讨论所根本完成不了的壮举。

    歌曲的开始部分，歌者向我们细细倾诉：There are people dying and it's time to lend our hands. 随后，歌手在逐渐激昂的曲调中，向人类大家庭的同胞们呼号：That someone, somehow will soon make a change.歌曲在高潮部分将全曲洋溢着的全球一家的主旨推向了极点: We are the world, we are the children . We are the ones who make a brighter day so let’s start giving. 此刻，我们的心灵得到了一次洗礼、一次震撼，感动的心绪久久不能抚平，热泪在眼眶中打转。因为这首歌中所歌咏的那种跨越了国界、种族、肤色的世界精神所包容的伟大情怀，是我们任何一个有着炽热情感的人类一份子所无法抗拒的。这的的确确是一首前无古人，后无来者的旷世佳曲。
