What is SmartWallit?

SmartWallit is a revolutionary device that allows you to keep track of your wallet. It will prevent you from leaving your wallet behind, so you will not have to awkwardly stand at the register frantically searching for your wallet. It is able to do this by connecting with your phone through Bluetooth 4.0. In addition, SmartWallit comes with a free App for your phone, which records the time and place when you lost it. 

If you misplace your wallet, you can make SmartWallit ring by using the App to figure out the location of your wallet.

There are so many differences between SmartWallit and SmartWallit Pro.

 What is SmartWallit Pro？

SmartWallit Pro is a new generation of SmartWallit with many new features: thinner and easily inserted into your wallet, more stable connection activity and more friendly App designs, cloud synchronization supported, colorful design, no disturb mode, funny warning sound, distance view, reminder of dealing with records, Lost location view, etc.

How SmartWallit evolve to SmartWallit Pro?

We have developed many prototypes before we finished SmartWallit Pro design. Following figure shows the evolution.  

How does it work?  

SmartWallit Pro connects with your phone through Bluetooth 4.0. All you have to do is open the SmartWallit Pro application and you will be all set. No need to dig around endlessly looking for the word Bluetooth in the Settings. Here are a few examples of how we think SmartWallit Pro will revolutionize your life.

Scenario 1: 2-way anti-lost reminder

If you leave your wallet behind, your phone will let you know. If you leave your phone behind, your wallet will let you know. Your wallet and your phone will now be responsible for each other. If you spent the whole weekend staying at home or at office, you can disable anti-lost function by App’s No Disturb Mode.

Scenario 2: Uh, where did it go?

If you misplaced your wallet, you can use the App to make your wallet ring. With a loud buzzer sound at a volume of over 85dB, you will have no trouble hearing it, even as far as 10 meters away. To allow for a more accurate hunt, the App will also show you the distance between your phone and your wallet.  

Scenario 3: When and where did you use your wallet?

When you use your wallet, SmartWallit Pro App will record this action using its proximity and light sensor to push a signal to your phone. With that information, your phone will be able to record when and where you last used your wallet.

This function introduces a brand new way to manage your finances. For example, if you make a payment, the SmartWallit Pro will ask if you would like to input payment details. Compared with other financial applications, our App gives you a frequent reminder to input those payment details. This allows you to build an accurate and complete record of the frequency and amount you spend. When reviewing your monthly spendings, the App will then be able to show you what you have bought over the last week/month/year.

New Features Of SmartWallit Pro

1. Algorithm is Optimized to reduce unexpected warning

SmartWallit Pro’s distance algorithm is optimized to reduce unexpected warning. In other words, SmartWallit Pro is more stable than old SmartWallit. Some users complained that SmartWallit might disturb them even if wallet was very close to phone. Now they don’t have to worry that again.

 

2. Algorithm of light sensor is optimized successfully.

SmartWallit users complained that they would receive "Your wallet is open" when they didn't open their wallets. We spent time in digging into the problem. Then we optimized the algorithm of light sensor and solved the problem. So SmartWallit Pro would have better user experience. 

3. No Disturb Mode

When you are at office or at home, you may drop wallet on table and walk around in room. Your wallet will lost connection with your phone frequently and there will be many out of range warnings. When you enable no disturb setting, there will be no out of range warning even if you leave your wallet or phone behind. App's default no disturb interval is  21:00-07:00(next day). So when you sleep at nigh, you will not be disturbed by SmartWallit Pro again.

4. It is the thinnest anti-lost device with Li-ion polymer battery around the world

SmartWallit Pro is the thinnest anti-lost device with Li-ion polymer battery around the world. Its thickness is only 4.2mm, and you can easily insert it into your wallet. And it only weighs 10g.

5. Lost location information help you easily get wallet back

SmartWallit Pro App will record the location where you lost wallet last time. So you could open SmartWallit Pro App and figure out the location of your wallet.

6. Records will be synced to the cloud manually or automatically

When you make payment, App would record when and where you pay. Also you can input amount, category and payment way. Those records will be synced to the cloud manually or automatically. So you don’t have to worry that the records would be lost.

7. Colorful SmartWallit Pro

There are 5 standard colors of SmartWallit Pro for you choose. That will make your wallet unique. The standard colors include black, blue, pink, red and green.

There are 4 limited edition colors: light green, light blue, light pink and yellow.

8. Natural and animal voices make SmartWallit Pro funny

When your phone is far away from SmartWallit Pro, a bird will sing loudly to call your back. When SmartWallit Pro is low battery, a cute dog will bark to remind you to charge SmartWallit Pro. When you use your wallet, you could hear the sound of spring. 

9. Distance shows on App's  dashboard

When you open App, you can figure out the distance between SmartWallit Pro and your phone by the App’s dashboard.

10. Automatically remind you to deal with your everyday records

Every day, App will push you one message: "Do you have any records that you should deal with?" It can remind you to deal with your everyday records. The time when you receive above message can be adjusted on App's setting menu.

11. 3 Hours No Disturb Mode

If you are at office and have a meeting, you’d like not to be disturbed by SmartWallit Pro. You can temporarily disable anti-lost function for 3 hours. SmartWallit Pro App implements the function as following figure shows.

12. Reminder of luggage approaching

You could put SmartWallit Pro into luggage before you board a plane. When you get off a plane and your luggage with SmartWallit Pro is approaching to you, Your phone will push message to remind you that your luggage is approaching to you.

If you wear beach pants in summer, you don't want to take wallet in your pocket. Then you can use the band attached with SmartWallit Pro, money and card as following figure shows. There are 3 colors for choose: black, green, light pink.

Specification Of SmartWallit Pro

SmartWallit Pro is a Bluetooth 4.0 device that connects with all current or future iPhone’s (4S, 5, 5S, 5C or later) and iPod Touch (5th generation or later). SmartWallit Pro also supports various Android phones that support Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.3, such as Samsung S(III,IV), Note (II, III) , HTC ONE, LG G2, Sony Xperia Z series, Google Nexus 4, 5, etc.

SmartWallit Pro comes in 5 colors: black, blue, pink, red and green.

SmartWallit Pro contains a 100mAh rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery. 

SmartWallit Pro also has a buzzer, which ensures that you will be able to find it in any environment, a common example being the average traffic jam (85 dB).   

SmartWallit Pro has an ambient light sensor and proximity sensor, which can sense when you use your wallet.

SmartWallit Pro’s dimensions are 80mm*57mm*4.2mm, so you can easily insert SmartWallit Pro into your wallet or purse.

Team members

Chase Sokolow is our market manager. Chase Sokolow graduated from New College of Florida in 2010 with a degree in Chemistry.  After graduation he moved to China to pursue a career in education.  Chase served as a professor at both the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Dalian Neusoft University of Information before moving to Shanghai to pursue a career in marketing. Chase became SmartWallit’s marketing director in 2012 and assists in their understanding of chinese market. He is charge of product concept and market. 
And he has experience of defining new product, especially consumer electronics. He has many excellent ideas and would like to create innovative product. He is Apple enthusiast and would like to make APPLE accessory. Also , he is good at market.

David Newnam, software engineer, he is good at software integration and application. Before he joined SmartWallit Inc., he worked for many consumer electronics companys, such as Freescale, and he has over 8 years experience on software development. He has technical research experience ranging from Android APP to IOS 
APP.

Project status

Most of the hard work related to the SmartWallit Pro has been completed. This means that we have several samples of the assembled boards and prototypes of the product. Also, we have nearly finished the coding of the iOS and Android application. After that is completed, we will work on product certification, product manufacturing, and technical support.
