Linux管理工具--Webmin安装

一、Webmin简介

Webmin是目前功能最强大的基于Web的Unix系统管理工具。管理员通过浏览器访问Webmin的各种管理功能并完成相应的管理动作。目前Webmin支持绝大多数的Unix系统，这些系统除了各种版本的linux以外还包括:AIX、HPUX、Solaris、Unixware、Irix和FreeBSD等。

 

二、Webmin安装

1、下载

2、解压缩

[root@bogon opt]# ls
rh  webmin-1.740.tar.gz
[root@bogon opt]# tar -zxvf webmin-1.740.tar.gz
[root@bogon opt]# mv webmin-1.740 webmin1.7
[root@bogon opt]# cd webmin1.7/

 

3、安装

进入安装目录：cd webmin1.7

执行命令./setup.sh

开始安装

[root@bogon webmin1.7]# ./setup.sh

Webmin uses its own password protected web server to provide access
to the administration programs. The setup script needs to know :
 - What port to run the web server on. There must not be another
   web server already using this port.
 - The login name required to access the web server.
 - The password required to access the web server.
 - If the webserver should use SSL (if your system supports it).
 - Whether to start webmin at boot time.

Web server port (default 10000):
Login name (default admin):
Login password: --设置登录口令
Password again: --设置确认口令

4、验证

在浏览器输入开始http://bogon:10000/访问
