SharePoint2010 IT Professional - Document Conversion

SharePoint中有个Feature叫Document Conversion，可以将存储在网站集中的docx、docm、infopath和xml格式的文件转化成SharePoint中的page显示在网站集中，下面我们就来看下如何在SharePoint中配置Document Conversion，以及这些类型的文件转化成Page后是如何呈现在Site Collection中的？

 

下面就以SharePoint2010为例，介绍具体的配置步骤和最后的效果：

 

1. 在SharePoint Central Administration-> System Settings-> Manage services on server中找到"Document Conversions Load Balancer Service"并开启；

 

1. 选择"Document Conversions Launcher Service"点击Start开启服务，在Settings页面的Load Balancer server中选择一个server，点击OK button；

1. 进入SharePoint Central Administration-> General  Application Settigns-> Configure document conversions；

1. 在Configure Document Conversions页面，选择要使用的Site Collection对应的Web Application，Enable  document conversions for this site?选择Yes，选择Load Balancer server，根据需要调整Converter Settings中列出的四类可以转换成web page的文件类型属性，点击Apply和OK使设置生效；

1. 打开设置Web Application下的一个site Collection，到Site Actions->Site Settings-> Site Collection Administration-> Site ollection features，开启SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure，置成Active状态。到Site Settings

Note：开启Publishing Feature主要是因为开启后SiteCollection下会有pages list，而我们转化文件生成的page是要存储在pages list的

1. 到Shared Document中上传一个docx文档，点击文档右方下箭头，选择Convert Document-> From Word Document to Web Page；

1. 在跳转的设置页面填写Title，点击Create button；

1. 等待会儿，文件正在转化中，完成后显示的页面中点击 OK；

 

1. 此时word已经转化成page显示在Site Collection中，word转化成page后在Top Link Bar中自动添加了Link。
