Uncaught Syntax Error: Unexpected Token ILLEGAL

I'm getting this following JavaScript Error on my Chrom Console:

Uncaught Syntax Error: Unexpected Token ILLEGAL

It says at the 26th line of file.I can't seem to find anything wrong with it.

So,I inspected it several times,but I still not find where is wrong.

At last,I delete it and typing it again.Wonderful!!It works!!How weird!

And,I also search this error from the Internet,there is someone encounted the same error with me.

Solution:

Try deleting the 26th line and adding it back.

I can't figure out exactly what's there, yet ...it really works.

25function convert(x){
26	switch(typeof x){
27		case 'number':
28			return document.write(x.toString(16),"<br>");
29		case 'string':
30			return document.write('"' + x + '"',"<br>");
		case 'boolean':
			return document.write(x.toString().toUpperCase(),"<br>");
		default:
			return document.write(x.toString(),"<br>");
	}
}

convert(5);
convert("你好");
convert(true);
convert(new Date());

result:

5
"你好"
TRUE
