ORACLE Buffer和Cache的区别

      A buffer is something that has yet to be "written" to disk. A cache is something that has been "read" from the disk and stored for later use.

      同样用来存储少量数据，但目的不一样，由于直接写数据效率不高，这里采用buffer的机制，将数据成片放在buffer中，再使用异步写，提高了写的效率；而cache是缓存了CPU最近被使用的资源集合，当读取相同资源时，可直接利用cache中的数据，提高了读取效率。
