The rewards of meditation are actually infinite.

冥想的益处是无穷的。

Ultimately the goal is Samadhi, enlightenment. But along the way many benefits are experienced.

冥想的最终目的是开悟,也称三摩地。在通往最终之路上,冥想的益处也是可以体验到的。

In the beginning don't worry or even think about Samadhi or enlightenment.

在一开始,不用担心或是想着三摩地或是开悟。

Just be calm and still and peaceful and relaxed with yourself today. This will bring you true happiness. Then everything else will come.

先平静、平和、稳定和放松的在这里。这会给你带来真正的幸福。然后,一切随着而来。

Some of the more common benefits that we may experience include:

一些冥想的益处是我们可以经验到的:

- Improved physical health, for example, normalising of blood pressure, deceased muscular tension and pain.

- 改善身体,如使血压正常、缓解肌肉紧张和疼痛。

- Improved mental tranquility & an increased ability to cope with stress.

- 使头脑平静,提高抗压能力。

- Improved mental functioning, for example, clearer and more positive thinking, improved memory, increased concentration.

- 提升思维运转,如更清晰积极的思考、提高记忆力、提高注意力。

- A connection to real wisdom and truth.

- 联结真正的智慧与真相。

- Increased joy and purpose in the life, increased understanding and acceptance of self, and increased ability to live life according to our real nature.

- 增加幸福感和目标感,更了解和接纳自我,让我们更加自然的生活。

He who cannot meditate must not expect peace;
And without peace, how can anyone expect happiness?

PS1:文中顺序与原文不同,我觉得从身体层面到头脑层面再到生活层面比较有逻辑。
