第一题

1）Half an hour goes by,but the last bus has not come.We had to walk home.

所用短语：

go by （时间）流逝

the last bus 末班车

have to do 不得不做

walk home 走回家

句子衔接：虽然半个小时过去了，但是…，所以要用but,只好走回家中的“只好”可以用“不得不”来代替，也就是have to do,表达出有点失落、无奈的意思。

2）Mary looks worried about the Chinese exam,because she hasn't learned the text by  heart.

所用短语：

worry about sth 担心某事

learn by heart 记住，默记，背诵

句子衔接：因为玛丽没有背熟课文，所以她担心考试，句子之间应该用 because来衔接。

3）Since the basketball match has been postponed,We may as well visit the museum.

所用短语：

may as well 不妨，还是…好

postponed 使…延期，把…放在次要地位

句子衔接：句子主干是“篮球赛被推迟，我们去参观博物馆”，其中前半句要用“既然”，使两句子间产生联系，即“since”,后半句先把主干写出来，再用“may as well”补充完整。

4）During the Second World War,he lived in Australia with his parents all the way.

所用短语：

live in 住在哪里

all the way 一直

句子衔接：在题干中这是一整个句子，但我将句子拆分成两节，先写出时间，后面说明其他内容，中间用逗号隔开，句子主干是“他和父母住在澳大利亚”，时间和“all the way”起修饰作用。

5）Since I graduated from nanjing university  in 1985,I have kind of lost touch with my college classmates.

所用短语：

graduate from 从…毕业

kind of 有点儿

lose touch with 和…失去联系

句子衔接：先写前半句，“自…来”用since，再套用短语“从…毕业”，后用in加年份表示时间，后半句主干是“我与大学同学失去联系”，先写出主干，再用题干中的kind of 来修饰一下。

第二题

第一句：I've been meaning to write letter to them,but something always comes up and I just can't seem to get around it.

所用短语：

have been doing sth 一直以来

mean to do sth 打算做某事

come up 发生

get around 逃避

句子衔接：前半句按语序翻译即可，后面“可是总有这样那样的事儿”可以理解为“但是总有一些事情发生”，用but 来衔接，最后“似乎就是抽不出空”，我翻译为了“我似乎无法逃避它”，“it”代指前文中的事情，与上句用and连接。

第二句：But they are always on my mind,and I think I will try to keep up with them by correspondence in the future.

所用短语：

on one's mind 挂在心上，使人担心

try to do sth 努力做某事

keep up with 与…保持联系

in the future 在将来

句子衔接：前半句是“但是我一直记挂着他们”，在翻译时我将语序调换，翻译成了“他们总被我记挂着”，后半句主干是“我想我会与他们保持通信联系的”，先将主干写出，随后套用短语，在句子末加上时间表修饰，与前句用and连接。
