to be silent, or to be chirping, this is a question.
what do I have to write about? let me get something straight, this essay is just a practice, so don't expect anything admirable, so this is a semi-journal, but I won't put any emotional stuff down, never.
Let me clear up right away, the only reason that I write this journal is that I figure later on when I am rich in so many English words, phrases and quotation, I have better things to do than just go over all those stupid thing that I learned, so I guess this journal may come in handy.
Wednesday
yesterday, so call Tuesday, I met two articles about Job Steve, one of the Co-founder of Apple. one article, I interpreted it, the other, I marked many new words on it with two pen in different color.
Jobs, a creative-like man, just like his name, he and his friend started a garage company just with two of them at 21, from then, they worked hard, in 10 the first decade Apple has gone from being a tiny garage company to a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees, just like his name, Jobs, he created a lot of jobs.
Then thing went well, money flocked in pockets in increasing number while the company in a rocketing growth, the scale of Apple was getting more and more big, so Jobs found someone whom he though was very talented to manage Apple with him.
Things turned rapidly, although the first year everything seemed well done.
The so-call talented man was a former executive of Pepsi, he is a man with fabulous brain in management and marketing, however, that doesn't mean he know everything, in particular, those things in computer industry.
computer industry was in its infancy then, so it's hard to tell with its futures even though a good executive in a traditional profitable industry.
like Jobs, their visions of future began to diverge, like any differences what were followed by was falling-out. when fight broke out, board of directors sided the Pepsi man.
One thing I should clear up, the Pepsi man was really a good one, that Jobs pursued him from West coast to East, Jobs went follow him to museum, they talked a whole lot, the man succumbed to Jobs' quotation, "do you want to spend the rest of your life selling sugared water, or do you want to change the world."
But all this stuff can't change the fact that Jobs was out, a very publicly out. and what he had been focusing on the whole adult life was gone with it.
Jobs was depressed then, he felt that he had let the previous generation entrepreneurs down, and had dropped the baton which was being passed to him. So Jobs went to visit the creator of HP and the beginner of Intel, and tried to apologized for screwing up.
But events turn so quickly, I remember a saying, a man whom can be constructed, but never be defeated, this is quite appropriate for Jobs.
Okay this is the essay for today.
