Let me say sth about teacher Judy first: Little-sized and plain-looking, Judy, as a tutorial teacher, always identifies herself with her students, who in turn believe in her. She does not completely relay on teaching knowledge but on setting a good example to them. She believes in the saying that give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.The wind for 2018 College Entrance Exam appears to die down. The ripple and popple in my heart, however, are not in calmness.Anyway, first attempt to describe my teachers, who did and do carry great weight in the deep botom of my heart.
My teachers
Teachers are to students what books are to soul. Teachers, the laborious engineers of our soul, shape students' personalities and characters; Teachers, the ladder with sefless devotion, lift students' hearts and minds, making them grow mature;Teachers, the sparkling lighthouse in the ocean of knowledge, inspire students to find access to success;
Being qualified for the above qualities, my impressive teachers are mainly classified as four kinds------my wise senior three English teacher, my learned, teaching-loving college foreign oral teacher, my thought-provoking and enlightening Japanese teacher as well as my inspiring and warm Mintrreading teacher.
With regard to my senior three English teacher, she is easy on girls and tough on boys. As a wise teacher, she has a good way with those who don't behave themselves or make trouble in class. She insists on meeting the deadlines unless you have asked for a leave. Despite the fact that she seemed to be hard to access, I'm confirmed that she is cruel to be kind and knows what's best for us, for if you spare your rod, you'll spoil your child.
Then comes my college foreign oral teacher, Divine, as he explianed to us in the first lesson, which means being sacred and holy in teaching in China. Learned and knowledgeable, every lesson he deonstrated various themes, ranging from astronomy to geography in the form of group oral discussion and brainstorm the frames on blackboard respectively. As a film lover, he prefers to deliver his knowledge to us through film or documentary, arraging for each group to act the fragment heart and soul, thus both enriching our knowlege and enhancing our listening and speaking ability.
Mr. Quan, my present Japanese teacher, whose teaching way impresses his students so greatly that we are fully-motivated. Memories come flooding to the first lesson, in which he first asked us to introduce ourselves with reference to the lines on the blackboard, and then gave us a fantastic feast ---- analyzing and summerizing the whole key points we have learned without any break. Also, his humour and sharp minds are bouncing through the class. So attentive and absorbed were us that noboday checked his smartphons and the moment when he announced class was over surprised us. Therefore, It is he who introduces us to the excitement and thrillment of Japanese learning. What a teacher says and does to his students makes or breaks them.
Last but not the leat, Lewis, yes, is maybe called as his emplyer required, who is younger than me. I remembered the first day he created the 500-people Wechat group and inspired us to read classics by the saying " when life gives you a lemon, make it lemonade." I remenbered he read as 100-day schedule required, analyzed the historical background information, and answered common or weired questions from us. I remenbered he asked us to write the impressive one of O. Henry's selected series and I chose " The Last Leaf ", during which my Little sun wrote that she wished to be friend with Judy forever. Forthermore, he is a warm teacher, encouraging me to challenge myself and continue to the end. Especially, his summary for his 100-day instructing reading recored, every moving moments with us and his offer of Graduate Record Examination impressed and inspired me beyond words.
Indeed, the mediocre teacher tells; The good teacher explains; The superior teacher demonstrates; The great teacher inspires. The above four teachers, actually stand for four kinds of teachers. I am fortunate enough to meet them and will cherish them in my heart. All in all, personally, what the teacher is, is more important than what he teaches.
