日记

I read an article on English learning. The author narrates Seven Deadly Sin in learning English.

Of all the seven characters, I consider lack of motivation primary factor. If we don't have clear goals, we are not able to know where to go and would easily give up after a few setbacks. Actually, this factor not just has an impact on learning English but also works in mastering other skills. In addition, greed also plays a role. We often have an unrealistic expectation; we want to find a shortcut to master listening, speaking, reading and writing quickly. I think we could start from a part or two. When we put energy and time into practice and make progress, we could better learn other parts with accumulated knowledge.

Every day, it's worth for us spending a little time thinking about what we're doing and what we get.
