基础阅读

感悟

A good college , if it does nothing else , ought to produce competent syntopical readers. A college degree ought to represent general competence in reading such that a graduate could read any kind of material for general readers and be able to undertake independent research on almost any subject.

一开始都说这两章读起来会很无聊,我倒是觉得这两章条例比较清晰,读起来不太费劲。
这两张主要大致说了阅读的四个层次,基础阅读、检视阅读、分析阅读、主题阅读。第三章细讲了基础阅读。基础阅读又分为四个层次,我发现对于外文阅读我还停留在二三层次,这按理说应该是四年级学生的水平,掌握单词和通过单词理解上下文。
文章最后说的大学生毕业时本应具备的阅读水平应该是到第四层次主题阅读。从我自身来看,周围很少有人又这个水平,可以读任何类型的书籍并能总结出自己的理论和可以独立对任意一个课题展开研究。这都不是我所具备的。事实上,大部分人都停留在一二层次。我认为这对于大学生来说是一种悲哀。空有识字的能力,没有思考的能力。
这和我们的教育也是有关系的。国家只是要求百分之九十九的人识字就可以了,对于之后的阅读层次提升只能靠自己。而多数人并没有这种自我阅读意识的觉醒,就比如我现在读了这本书才开始发觉我以前读的书都白读了,根本没有自己思考过,只是说哦我看过了。普及更高层次的阅读水平在我们的国家目前行不通,毕竟人口众多。但是作为独立个体的我们应该在意识到的这一刻就努力去提高自己的阅读水平。如果仅停留在目前的阶段,那将会一直在这里,吸收不了更高层次的书籍,思想也会止步不前。
书中又一个点还蛮有意思的,那就是全世界的家长几乎都一样,怕孩子输在起跑线上。书中说到有的时候太早让孩子去学习阅读识字是没有必要的,这反而会让孩子感觉到厌烦,甚至会影响孩子一生对于这种学习的厌烦。但是家长很着急,他们怕孩子会落后于同龄人,就让它们尽早的开始识字、阅读。

落后于别人四天之后又补回来一天,但是写笔记这个事情确实很费时间。我目前的水平光读就需要两小时,写笔记两小时。接下来打算先读,然后手写笔记,最后水平上来再把笔记倒在这里,往后读一读也更有助于理解。就这样吧。
