Self-introduction (sample)

Good morning/afternoon, dear proffessors, my name is ~,~ years old, I come from~, gtaduated from ~~university, majoring in nursing. During four years' education,  I learned nurcing thories and skills, as well as the thories of traditional Chinese medicine. After study, I took part in the editing work of the college journal, and did external connection work in the painting and colligraphy scoiety.

I think people usually figure out their directions of the road ahead only after experiencing some choices and setbacks. After two jobs related to my major, I came to Beijing to work in a cultural communication company as an editor in 2014,  with a vision for the booming cultural industry here. During this time, I found I am interested in the digital publishing very much, so I read a lot and learned some skills related to this field such as editing and composing of the software, Indesign. During this experience, I am more convinced that I want to devote myself to this field. But I need to study further to improve myself. So I study hard and have been preparing the postgraduate exam for one year. Now I am happy to see all the hard work is getting to be paid because I have the chance to be interviewed by you.

Well, when I have spare time, I like painting and reading, especially I am interested in imitating the oil paintings by Van Gough, the famous post impressionist. And also I have read the biographical novel LUST FOR LIFE several times to know more about the genious painter. I am totally moved by his deep affection to colours and the life. Whenever I feel confused and slack, I always remember one of his quotations. Vicient said, ' I must continue to follow my path I take now. If I do nothing, if I study nothing, if I cease searching, then woe is me, I am lost.'
