英语杂碎之朝花夕拾（4）

经常碰到一些貌似简单的英语句子，可是要把它们用通顺准确的汉语表达出来，却显得有点力不从心，词不达意。我挑几个句子出来，让大家群策群力一显身手：

1. You hit a dry spell with girls.

2.He was a dead ringer for Hemingway.

3. The neighborhood collectively sighed.

4. Life is too serious to be taken seriously.

5. This book is about how. It's also why, and most important, it's who.

6. Your window of opportunity slammed shut. The pregnant pause gave birth to awkward silence.

7. Laughter is an orgasm triggered by the intercourse of sense and nonsense.
