【课程简介】
本课程将参考国内的数学教材，结合中国和美国小学数学教学内容，取长补短。将选择以下内容进行教学：自然数乘除法\分数的初步认识\小数的认识与计算\图形与几何\简易方程等，通过学生自主学习，老师点拨，让孩子在观察\思考\探讨\总结中获取知识，让他们掌握数学方法、提高学生数学学习的能力。
【老师简介】
周翠萍老师，来美之前在上海一所双语学校任教。负责学校小学部数学课程建设、课题研究、数学教学研究，并长期工作在教学一线，所带班级学生数学素养高，考试成绩总遥遥领先于其他班级。工作期间，所写论文获全国一等奖，带领团队完成多个数学课题，多次获得市区校各级奖彰，并被授予骨干教师\优秀园丁\优秀班主任\校学术委员会成员等荣誉称号。

【课程简介】
Intro to ACT/SAT offered by Inkwell English Education. According to the American Test Anxieties Association, roughly 38% of students identify as “bad test takers” and allow this myth to dictate their SAT or ACT scores. This two-semester class introduces the verbal portion of the two main standardized college entrance exams. In the class, students acquire effective and comprehensive study skills, become familiar with taking authentic ACT and SAT exams, and learn how to use ACT- and College Board-approved test-taking strategies. Students are given weekly homework assignments in order to identify problem areas on which to improve.

【课程简介】
The best form of flattery is imitation. It’s also one of the best ways to learn to write. By imitating the animal fables of Aesop, students in this class learn to paraphrase, improve their writing style with stronger word choices and sentence variety, and edit their work for grammatical and mechanical correctness. They practice the same techniques with each fable to master the skills taught–important skills that they will use in school to take notes for research projects and to prepare written presentations. After polishing their fables, they publish them in a book of their own design, which they share on the final day of class. Parents are encouraged to attend the final celebratory reading.

Inkwell is owned and operated by Karen Boniface. Nominated for Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (2000, 2004, 2005, 2006), Hope College’s Most Influential High School Teacher (2005) and National Honor Roll’s Outstanding American Teachers (2006), Karen Boniface has spent a lengthy career teaching students. After 25 years in the classroom, she transitioned into the private sector in 2006 as director of Inkwell English Education, specializing in teaching students to write.

【课程简介】
12 WEEK CURRICULUM – READING, WRITING, SPEAKING. The curriculum can be modified to place units in different orders. In general, each unit is a 3-week project-based cycle, with focuses on readings, discussion, smaller writing assignments, and a larger project at the culmination of each unit that will have a written and presentation component. Also each unit will focus on specific and appropriate issues of the style and mechanics of writing throughout.

Dr.Jamie Thomas is the author of Etch and Blur (Brick Road Poetry Press). A recipient of an Academy of American Poets Prize, Thomas’ poems have appeared in such journals as 32 Poems, 5 AM, The Missouri Review, New Ohio Review, Third Coast, Verse and online at Verse Daily. He lives in Detroit and teaches Writing at Ferris State University. He taught over 20 upper elementary and middle school students at JH FLAG STREAMS camp (hosted by ACA) during summer and received very positive feedback from both students and parents.
