电商成为扶贫新驱动。4月20日，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平在陕西考察调研时强调，电商不仅可以帮助群众脱贫，而且还能助推乡村振兴，大有可为。据中国日报报道，越来越多的地方干部走进直播间，推广本地农产品，帮助农民增收。

E-commerce has become a new engine of poverty alleviation. As President Xi Jinping said on April 20 in Shaanxi province, e-commerce is an emerging business with great potential to promote sales of agricultural products and help rural residents shake off poverty and facilitate rural vitalization. A growing number of deputy county chiefs in China have walked into livestreaming studios to promote local farm produce and help farmers increase their income, according to China Daily.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, several kinds of digital health certificates have been implemented by local governments in China. The certificates display residents’ health status and travel records as part of an effort to manage the outbreak. On Feb 11, Hangzhou became the first city to grant residents a colored health QR code. In early March, Beijing also rolled out its health-checking mini-program.

据新华社24日报道，中国行星探测任务命名为“天问（Tianwen）系列”，首次火星探测任务命名为“天问一号”，后续行星任务依次编号。今年的4月24日是第五个中国航天日。据悉，该名称源于屈原长诗《天问》，表达了中华民族对真理追求的坚韧与执着，体现了对自然和宇宙空间探索的文化传承，寓意探求科学真理征途漫漫，追求科技创新永无止境。

China's first Mars exploration mission has been named Tianwen-1, announced the China National Space Administration (CNSA) on Apr 24, China's Space Day. The name comes from the long poem "Tianwen," meaning Questions to Heaven, written by Qu Yuan, one of the greatest poets of ancient China. The name represents the Chinese people's relentless pursuit of truth, the country's cultural inheritance of its understanding of nature and universe, as well as the unending explorations in science and technology.

中国互联网络信息中心4月28日发布第45次中国互联网络发展状况统计报告称，截至2020年3月，我国网民规模为9.04亿，较2018年底新增网民7508万；其中，手机网民规模达8.97亿，较2018年底增长7992万，我国网民使用手机上网的比例达99.3%。根据报告，我国互联网普及率达64.5%，较2018年底提升4.9个百分点。

The number of netizens accessing the internet through mobile phones in China had increased by 79.92 million from the end of 2018 to 897 million in March 2020, accounting for 99.3 percent of the total number, said the report. Internet penetration in China had reached 64.5 percent, up 4.9 percentage points over the end of 2018, said the report issued by the China Internet Network Information Center.
