at the first sight, I noticed immediately the zigzag brook and many thwart wise dead tree trunks ,thick and thin. I can image that some small ainimals can take advantage of these  trunks to arrive from one side of the brook to the other side. The brook is shallow but dynamic. At a turning angle of the brook, there stands a big stone covered with moss. Miss can be seen everywhere, on the bank,the trucks as well as sands and stones.  Obviously, the forest is so dense that sunshine can hardly penetrate the defense of trees and touches ground. Not any tree leaves indicate that it is great possibility that winter or late autumn is ongoing. We almost can smell the fresh cool air from this picture.
